Beautiful antique piece from the Art Nouveau era. Crafted in 18 karat yellow gold, featuring a repoussé design with scrolling accents of a royal princess and her crown set with antique rose cut diamonds on the front and a stem of lily flowers on the back. The back of the locket shows its age in the best possible way with the rich patina making the raised work pop and gold glow. The locket slides open clockwise and can lock close securely. There are very faint and worn stamps on the bail, but not recognizable 100%. Most likely French.
